Strategy: Integrate technology into the courses of study.


Goals Related to this Strategy
:

Performance Indicators:  The District will continue to integrate technology throughout the curriculum by including the student technology standards in each curriculum course of study as it comes up for review every 3-5 years.

The Technology Resource Specialists will continue to provide integration support on a daily basis to teachers.  Each TRS will keep track of teacher contact through an online database that is accessible to administration.  The TIS's model lessons, team-teach, create projects, teach instructional applications, and provide one-on-one assistance to teachers.  We will also be providing scheduled inservices on integration in the Fall and Spring of the 2004-2005 school year.  We will be focusing on Science and Social Studies integration, as these are the latest courses of study to be reviewed and adopted. 

The Technology Coordinating Team will continue to meet on a monthly basis to discuss and assess the progress of our technology plan goals.  As this is done, we will be updating our technology plan accordingly.
