Researched Based Reading Practices

    With the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA aka No Child Left Behind) in full swing, educators will be forced to take a more critical look at how all students are being taught.  Instructional practices for ESEA subgroups (special education, low SES, racial/ethnic, etc.) will be of particular focus.  Educators will be forced to focus on what has been proven to work as cited by empirical research; thus the name researched based practices.
