Software

Hardware

Software prior to receiving this grant was limited to using 'suite' software such as MS Office.  Some of the general software is listed below; however, much of the hardware also came with software that extends functionality.  For example, the Elmo's came with ImageMate which allows for screen shots, drawing, and zoom functions.   Prior to receiving this grant, the entire LBMS building - 2 grade levels at 300+ students per level - had in its inventory 2 digital cameras, 3 wireless projection carts with laptops, one computer lab, and one mobile computer lab.  Monies from the grant have transformed instruction from a standard dry erase board style of teaching to an interactive, multimedia approach.  See below for a general list of items that were obtained.

On the wall of every classroom is a volume control for the ceiling speakers.  There's also an input to allow connection to an externel DVD, video camera, or VHS player
Connected to every computer is a web cam for communication from class-to-class and to outside district sources.
