Over the weekend of March 23-24, 2013, Cornell University wrestler, Kyle Dake, made NCAA history by becoming the first wrestler in the history of NCAA Division 1 Wrestling to capture four national championships at four different weight classes. Kyle is the son of Doug Dake, who remains the only wrestler in Westlake High School history to capture a state title in wrestling, which he did in 1975. Kyle became only the third four time NCAA Champion joining Pat Smith of Oklahoma State and Cael Sanderson of Iowa State (and current Penn State wrestling coach-the Nittany Lions have won the last 3 team titles).
