Athletic Boosters

 

The Demons Club is a group of parent volunteers who work throughout the year to raise funds to support athletic programs at Lee Burneson Middle School (LBMS) and Westlake High School (WHS).

 

Our purpose is to encourage and foster community and student pride throughout the City of Westlake through:

 

Development of LBMS and WHS athletic programs as a means of creating a community identity;

 

Promoting the highest standards of good sportsmanship among players, parents, school officials, fans and the general public;

 

Cooperation and understanding among active participants in the community, administration, businesses, parents and students

Reverse Raffle

Thanks to 150 people who braved the elements and joined us Saturday night AND to those who couldn’t make it but supported the event through the purchase of tickets!! 

The Westlake Demons Club, along with its sponsors, Westshore Primary Care and

St. John Westshore Hospital, is pleased to announce its upcoming 6th Annual

“Green and White”Reverse Raffle and dinner.

 

We are asking your support by attending this very important community event.

 

WHEN: Saturday, March 8th 2008, 6:30pm-12:00am, Dinner 7:30pm

 

WHERE: St. Demetrios Cultural Center, 22909 Center Ridge Road, Rocky River

Spaghetti Dinner

 

The Demons Club will be hosting its annual Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, September 28, 2007.  A Westlake tradition!   The dinner is a special event held to kick-off Westlake’s Homecoming weekend and to celebrate our Demon Pride.  All proceeds benefit the Westlake High and Lee Burneson Middle School athletic programs. 

 

The entire community is invited to attend.  The dinner will be held at the Westlake High School cafeteria from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.  Tickets are available from any Demons Club member, through the WHS athletic office or at the door the night of the event.

 

If your child participates in a Fall sport of the High School or at Lee Burneson Middle School, we request that each family donate one pie to be served as dessert at the dinner.  We need pies delivered to the WHS cafeteria between 1:00pm and 4:00pm on the day of the dinner.

 

Volunteers are needed to assist in one-hour shifts the day of the dinner.  If you are able to work, please contact Beth Mays at 871-3321
