Community understanding of the schools is important if the District and the community are to maintain mutual confidence and respect and work together to improve the quality of education for students.

To advance community understanding and to improve the educational opportunities of children in the Westlake Schools the Board shall establish a Citizen’s Advisory Committee. This Committee shall be composed of residents approved by the Board and shall function consistent with Board approved by-laws.
