The Communications Office strives to ensure parents and community members have easy access to current and relevant information regarding the Westlake City School District, answers to any questions about our district, or we will direct inquiries to the appropriate information sources. The office is responsible for maintaining the district website, social media outlets, and the automated calling and email systems. The SchoolMessenger parent notification services is used for parent outreach, emergency broadcasts, school closings, student attendance alerts and other communication needs for our schools.
To receive SchoolMessenger notification via email and phone, you must be registered through the online Registration Gateway Back-to School site. SchoolMessenger is using the contact information from the Alerts page on the Registration Gateway site. It is imperative that parents visit the Registration Gateway site to fill out complete information for each child if you want to be included in future district notifications - including school closings due to weather.
