Bassett Elementary School is a child-centered community empowered to develop responsible, compassionate, globally-minded citizens who are lifelong inquirers dedicated to achieving academic excellence.






Garden Club

Garden Club meets Tuesdays Garden Club meets Tuesdays, 2:20-3:30 pm, in Mrs. Neimeister's classroom (Room 301) for those who are signed up.

We need volunteers for each Tuesday! No previous gardening experience is necessary.

What to Wear/Bring

Students should be dressed for gardening! Weather permitting, we go outside and may get messy. Rain boots are recommended. Your child should bring gardening gloves (please put your child's name on each glove).

Send in a note on Garden Club days

Please be sure to send in a note to your child's teacher on all Garden Club days indicating that your child is staying for Garden Club.

Garden Club Dismissal

Garden Club dismissal is at 3:30 pm. We will bring students out to the car line; it is not necessary for you to enter the building. Please follow regular dismissal line procedures - cars should enter from Woodmill Drive, line up by the gym & trailers, and exit out onto Bassett Road. Please display your child's name in the window. Children going to Link will be escorted to Link.

Please note that any student not picked up within 5 minutes of dismissal time will be sent to Link. If there is a change in your child's Garden Club dismissal plan from what you indicated on your permission slip, please send in a note.
