The Board of Education functions as the governing body of the school district. Responsibilities include hiring the superintendent, setting district policy, approving the district budget, establishing goals and accountability standards, and promoting involvement in our schools.

The Westlake Schools offers a wide variety of options in the performing arts, including Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Demonette & Debonaire. Students can explore a new instrument, sing in a number of choirs, or perform as a member of the cast in a theater production.
