A Sweet Start to the School Year

Welcome to another exciting school year at Lee Burneson Middle School!

My name is Samantha Harriger, and I’m excited to serve as your LBMS PTA President for the 2026–2027 school year. As both a parent and PTA volunteer, I've seen firsthand the incredible things that happen when families, teachers, staff, and our community come together with one shared goal: supporting our students & schools.

Middle school is an exciting season filled with new friendships, growing independence, memorable traditions, and opportunities to discover who our children are becoming. The LBMS PTA is here to help make those years even more meaningful by supporting our students, celebrating our staff, and creating opportunities for families to stay connected.

Whether it's student programs, staff appreciation, or special traditions, every membership helps make those experiences possible. 

One of my goals this year is simple: to make our PTA feel welcoming, positive, and connected. You don't have to volunteer every month or attend every meeting to make a difference. In fact, one of the easiest ways to support our school is simply by becoming a member.

Whether you're a returning LBMS family or walking through the doors for the first time, we're so glad you're here. I hope you'll join us as we work together to create another wonderful year for our students, teachers, and community.
