Board of Education
Westlake Board of Education
The Board of Education functions as the governing body of the school district. Responsibilities include hiring the superintendent, setting district policy, approving the district budget, establishing goals and accountability standards, and promoting involvement in our schools.
Athletics
Demon Athletics
Westlake's athletic program is built on a solid foundation of strong teams, talented players, dedicated coaches, enthusiastic parents and proud alumni supporters. The essentials of teamwork, skill development, positive attitude, school spirit, physical fitness and sportsmanship are addressed on the field and off. Our coaches work to show that what is learned on the field or court is applicable to the classroom and throughout life.

The Westlake Schools offers a wide variety of options in the performing arts, including Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Demonette & Debonaire. Students can explore a new instrument, sing in a number of choirs, or perform as a member of the cast in a theater production.
