The Board of Education functions as the governing body of the school district. Responsibilities include hiring the superintendent, setting district policy, approving the district budget, establishing goals and accountability standards, and promoting involvement in our schools.

The Westlake Schools offers a wide variety of options in the performing arts, including Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Demonette & Debonaire. Students can explore a new instrument, sing in a number of choirs, or perform as a member of the cast in a theater production.

AP Exams

Information

The AP test fees for the 2021-2022 school year will be $100 per exam.

Students must join the AP Classroom for each AP class in order for an exam to be ordered. The classroom code will be given to students by the AP teacher(s).

Additionally, students and parents must sign the electronic AP Acknowledgement form that explains exam fees and schedules. This form is required for all students who are taking AP courses or independently study for an exam and is due by November 1.
